WELCOME

An uncategorisable artist, Nicole Brousse frees herself from every convention. She lives her work as a time travel, from Antiquity towards the future, going through cultures and civilizations in the manner of an inner travel diary. Where these routes cross, sculptures come to life, out of time, classic and modern, figurative and symbolic, where reality meets phantasmagoria.

Since 2009 Nicole Brousse has been developing her “course” made up of 20 to 30 sculptures, a genuine concept she adapts to the different places, populating spaces, places, gardens and towns. “Her sculptures come to life.”

Until today, her scenographic course of sculptures was mainly intended for councils and collectivities. She now also offers to rent her sculptures to businesses.

She also organizes training courses, technic and creative working groups for private people who can rent a room at the artist’s.

Nicole Brousse

Her world

An artist who cannot be categorized, Nicole Brousse frees herself from every convention. She lives her work as a time travel, from Antiquity towards the future, going through cultures and civilizations in the manner of an inner travel diary.

Where these routes cross, sculptures come to life, out of time, classic and modern, figurative and symbolic, where reality meets phantasmagoria.

With her artistic research, she intends to gain a better knowledge of herself. She undertakes an inner quest, she explores her inner self.

She cannot see any link between these research yet, but in the course of her discoveries she realizes that everything is linked, everything comes together. Each human being, in the depths of his self, is linked to the universe.

She then understand she has to find the real essence of life through her work, opening wide her eyes, her spirit, and her wings.

After being warriors and heroes, her women grow up, become more serene and more enigmatic.

This constant search influences her work, guides her and makes her approach change regarding sculpture.

In 2007, Nicole Brousse starts developing her “course” made up of 20 to 30 sculptures, a genuine concept she adapts to the different places, populating spaces, places, gardens and towns. “Her sculptures come to life.”

The symbolism and the spirituality inherent in her creations lead us on a magical and initiatory journey, and invite us to

“Return to our selves.”
